Holiday purchases, and how I will never learn.

While upacking I found the strapless jumpsuit I bought in Spain:

and as predicted, it seems an insanely ridiculous purchase now I’m back on English soil. Particularly as the conversation in the shop went:

Me: I’ll never wear this in England

Him: Well don’t buy it then

Me: But it looks good HERE

Him: So buy it then

Me: But then I’ll have a whole set of outfits I only wear when abroad, rather like the Goofy baseball cap:

that I had in Disney World when I was 11 and wore constantly while in Disney World, which then spent 10 years on top of a wardrobe, because it was an insane thing to wear when I wasn’t in the Magic Kingdom.

And did I mention that my sister had a matching one? We were incredibly stylish children, right up there with the Jolie-Pitts.

But I bought it, obviously, maybe I could get away with it in Shoreditch? Maybe if I wore it with a picnic blanket, rubber shoes and a handbag made entirely out of leaves?

Suddenly I miss the baseball cap.

That’s ok! I’m just taking that as you really, REALLY liking it – you can get one when you’re in Tam, it’s from that shop that sells the nice jewellary next to the one that sells strange Indian lampshades…

    Matching jumpsuits.

    And John leaves the country…

I will be sure to check out the jumpsuit shop and perhaps pick up a a lampshade or 2. Reckon Easyjet will allow me back home on the plane with them?
